He retired as Professor , Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce & Business, Delhi School of Economics , University of Delhi in June, 2010. His teaching and research experience is more than 43 years . He was elevated to the position of Professor way back in September, 1989. He was the Head of the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics from July , 1999 to July, 2002 and the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce & Business , University of Delhi from July, 1999 to May, 2002.
He has been the member of the Academic Council , University of Delhi for seven years and was also the Chairman of the Standing Committee(s) of the Academic Council for a period of three years. He has been associated with Universities, Government/Semi Government Bodies and Management institutes as Visitor’s nominee / UGC nominee/AICTE nominee/ Member of the Governing body/Expert Member of the Selection Committee etc. He was Director of Corp Bank Homes Ltd , Corporation Bank as Government Nominee from 2002 to 2004. He was the ‘Executive Member’ of ‘Indian Commerce Association’ from 1997 to 1999 and the executive member of Indian Accounting Association from 2007 to 2009. He is the Founder member of ‘Indian Financial Management Association’ and is also at present its Vice-President. He has presented several papers and chaired various technical and Valedictory sessions in national and international conferences. He has supervised more than 30 Ph.Ds and more than 55 M. Phils successfully. His publications include seven books and more than three dozen research papers / articles published in national and international journals of repute. His areas of specialization is ‘Finance’, and ‘Investment Management’.

Dr. Kindra is a recognized consultant in the public sector, has taught and consulted in many countries around the world. His consulting and training clients include Industry Canada, Environment Canada, Health Canada, Public Service Commission, Employment and Immigration, Public Works, Canadian International Development Agency, the Canadian Museum of Nature and The World Bank.
Dr. Kindra has appeared as Expert Witness to Parliamentary Committees as well in lawsuits involving the tobacco and health care industries. He has been extensively quoted on CBC, Global, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun, Ottawa Citizen, CP, Southam, and numerous other media. He is presently working on a World Bank project in the area of strategic communications for parliamentary staff in emerging democracies.
Author and co-author of several publications, Professor Kindra received the Best Applied Marketing Paper as well as the Fondation de Recherche en Administration de l’UniversitÈ de Sherbrooke awards at the 1990 Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) Conference for his paper Marketing Prescription for the Health Care Sector in Canada. Other publications include the award-winning standard Canadian text Consumer Behaviour in Canada, and Marketing Strategies for the Health Care Administrator, and research articles in Optimum, International Marketing Review, Canadian Journal of Administrative Studies, and European Journal of Business.

Vithala R. Rao is a Professor of Marketing and Quantitative Methods at Cornell University, USA. He received Johnson's 2000-01 Faculty Research Award and the 2005 Robert D. Buzzell Award for the Best Paper by the Marketing Science Institute. He recently received the 2008 Charles Coolidge Parlin Marketing Research Award presented by the American Marketing Association and the American Marketing Association Foundation recognizing his “outstanding leadership and sustained impact on advancing the evolving profession of marketing research over an extended period of time”. He was elected the ISMS Fellow in 2012. He will be inducted as an AMA Fellow in February 2016.
He serves on the editorial boards of Customer Needs and Solutions (as a Senior Editor), Journal of Marketing (as an Associate Editor), Journal of Marketing Research (as a reviewer), Marketing Science (as a reviewer) and Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing (as a reviewer). He is also an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including Management Science. He is currently the Chair of the Marketing Strategy Committee of INFORMS.

He has served as Vice-President of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada, Director of Research and Publications at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Management, and Chair, Concordia's Department of Finance. He has published in numerous leading North American journals, is a former Associate Editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance and co-author of Principles of Managerial Finance. He has been twice-nominated for the national 3M Teaching Fellowship for excellence in teaching, and is a recipient of best paper awards and honoraria at national and international conferences.

Shantanu Dutta is Associate Professor in finance. He previously taught at University of Ontario Institute of Technology, St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia and Assumption University, Bangkok as a full-time faculty member. Before his career in academe, he served as a Finance Manager and Project Controller at Lafarge – a world leader in construction materials. Professor Dutta teaches 3rd-year corporate finance, among other courses. He has taught courses in financial management at the MBA level as well as courses in corporate governance, entrepreneurial finance, mergers & acquisitions, international financial management, and advanced corporate finance applications.
Shantanu Dutta’s research focuses on mergers and acquisitions, media coverage and financial decisions, corporate governance, market efficiency, dividend policy and technology management.
He has a excellent publication track record and his research articles appear in numerous international and national journals. Professor Dutta has also participated and presented papers in many scholarly conferences. He is a recipient of a SSHRC grant and Barclays Global Investors Canada Research Award (2006) for the best paper on the Canadian security market. He received the ‘Highly Commended Award’ at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2009 and 2014 for a study published in the International Journal of Managerial Finance.
