- To conduct PGDM, IMEC Institute of Management will follow trimester system , which is similar to that followed in various IIMs.
- Each academic year divided into 3-terms, each term is called trimester; each of the 6-trimesters will be of 12-13 weeks.
- In the first year all courses are mandatory and are designated as Core Courses (list enclosed) which will equip the students with basic working knowledge in functional areas of management and enhance their analytical skills.
- The second year provides opportunity to opt courses from Elective Courses (list enclosed) in the chosen area of specialization customized to career aspirations of students and the industry requirements and make them industry-ready for taking on real life challenges in the changing global business environment.
- PGDM curriculum comprise of seven (07) months of training & learning modules including industrial & in-house training (including pre-placement training)

- To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program, the candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline (B.B.A., B. Com., B. Tech., B.E., B.A. (Economics/Stats/Math), B. Sc. etc.) with at least 50% marks (in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled category, this is relaxed to 45%), from a recognized university in India.
- The Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or an equivalent.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria.
- Students with valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/ IMEC entrance test scores will be considered for the admission to the PGDM program. Once shortlisted on basis of scores and other academic credentials, students will be called for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) and finally the admission of students will take place on the basis of their overall ranking after GD&PI.

- Application form is available online.
- Applicant should complete the application form and submit the same along with the admission application fee, which is non-refundable.
- Cost of an application form will be Rs. 1500/- for an applicant desirous of applying to PGDM program in IMEC, Rudrapur.
- The fees can be paid in the form of DD/PO in favor of “IMEC”, payable at Rudrapur.
- Please write clearly your name, contact number and e-mail address on the back side of DD / PO.
- Cash payment towards processing fees is also accepted at Institute’s office.
- Application Forms can also be obtained in-person from the Institute’s Office from Monday through Saturday: 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM (except Holidays)
