Industrial visit is important in a career of a student pursuing a professional course in management like PGDM. The objective of an industrial visit is to provide the students an insight regarding internal working of industries. We understand that theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, industrial visit provides students a practical perspective of the work place. Students are provided with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. Students are exposed to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at institute. Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment. We at IMEC institute conduct industrial visits with an objective of providing students an opportunity to explore different sectors like Operations, Logistics, Sales & Marketing and others. On completion of the visit, we encourage the students and the members of faculty to write a brief reports.
