WIRELESS INTERNET: IMEC provides high-speed wireless network connection throughout the campus for use by faculty, staff, and students in education, research and administration. This facility is in addition to the wired internet connection.
Computer Lab is spacious and well equipped with adequate number of systems with compatible operating systems needed for the study, research analysis and consultancy projects.
The OS includes LINUX based OS (KALI LINUX); WINDOWS 7 to run various application software (for example MS Office/OpenOffice consisting of MS word, Excel and PowerPoint modules). IMEC promotes the use of OPEN SOURCE software. Lab has 1-server room and all the systems are connected to internet through a dedicated leased bandwidth of 20 Mbps.
Since our establishment, we have constantly upgraded our learning systems and teaching pedagogy to meet the growing industry-demands.
Our efficient and experienced staff guides and mentors the students by imparting values such as Honesty, Humility, Discipline and Dedication in their young minds.
We have been providing excellent academic and learning environment to students through our well-maintained classrooms, library, computer lab, language lab etc.
Welcome To Our Language Lab
Language Laboratory at IMEC is designed for the students to develop Communication skills, inspiring accent and other developmental activities. The Language Laboratory is used for language tutorials. These are attended by students who voluntarily opt for Remedial English classes. Lessons and exercises will be recorded on a weekly basis so that the students are exposed to a variety of listening and speaking drills. This especially benefits students who are deficient in English and also aims at confidence-building for interviews and competitive examinations. The Language Laboratory sessions also include word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits etc.
Taking into consideration the globalization of business operations, students will be provided the elementary knowledge of important international languages including English, French, Chinese and Spanish.
Lab is equipped with 4-computer terminals which will run the following application software which are supported by audio-visual aids to facilitate effective learning : Instant Immersion English Family Edition Levels 1,2,3 Individual Software Easy English Platinum 11 French language software (Microsoft) LEARN ENGLISH MADE EASY VIDEO TRAINING DVD INSPIRATION version 7.0 is an Multimedia Interactive Training CD with a focus on developing Ideas & Organize Thinking (consists of the modules including Brainstorming, Planning, Critical Thinking, Concept Mapping, Webbing, Organizing etc.)
