B. Voc (Hospitality & Hotel Management)

The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Hospitality & Hotel Management is a career-oriented undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a strong combination of academic knowledge, practical training and industry exposure. The programme develops professional skills in food production, food & beverage service, housekeeping, front office operations, hospitality management, customer service and hotel administration, preparing students for diverse careers in the rapidly growing hospitality and tourism sector.

Career & Job Prospects

Graduates can pursue opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, food service companies, airlines, cruise lines, tourism organizations, event management companies, guest houses and other hospitality establishments. Career roles may include Front Office Executive, Guest Relations Executive, Food & Beverage Executive, Housekeeping Executive, Commis/Chef, Restaurant Supervisor, Hospitality Operations Executive and Event Executive. The programme also provides a foundation for entrepreneurship in the hospitality and food-service sector.

The programme combines classroom learning with hands-on training, helping students develop the professional skills, confidence and practical competence required to enter the hospitality industry.

Eligibility

Candidates who have successfully completed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply for admission, subject to the applicable university and regulatory norms.

Multiple Exit Options

In accordance with the UGC framework for undergraduate programmes, the B.Voc. programme provides multiple entry and exit opportunities, enabling students to obtain a recognized qualification at different stages of their studies:

  • After 1 Year: Diploma in Hospitality & Hotel Management
  • After 2 Years: Advanced Diploma in Hospitality & Hotel Management
  • After 3 Years: Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Management

Students who complete the full three-year programme gain comprehensive academic and practical preparation for professional careers and further studies.

M.B.A (Masters in Business Administration)

The MBA program at IMEC Institute for Management is a career-oriented postgraduate program designed to develop managerial knowledge, leadership skills, analytical thinking and professional competence. The program combines academic learning with practical exposure to help students understand contemporary business practices and prepare for careers across diverse sectors.
