What is the full form of PGDM? PGDM stands for “Post Graduate Diploma in Management.” Overview of PGDM Course: PGDM is a two-year postgraduate diploma program that is considered equivalent to an MBA (if AIU accredits the college) and prepares students for an exciting career in Management. PGDM Admission Process: Admissions to PGDM are usually based on entrance exams conducted by various bodies. These include CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, SNAP, CMAT, ATMA, etc. (As per the institute or state where scores of these exams are accepted). Once candidates qualify for these exams, they are further invited to appear in Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in both these parameters. Note- For admission at IMEC Rudrapur, valid scores of CAT/MAT/ CMAT and IMEC Entrance exams are considered. This is followed by GD and PI rounds. After successfully clearing, the students are finally offered seats in the program. The PGDM program offered by IMEC is approved by AICTE, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
